Tasks and Responsibilities
Tasks of the Graduate Studies
- Preparing reports and forms for the graduate studies program in the college.
- Preparing the college's graduate studies plan in coordination with the scientific departments to achieve specific goals of scientific theses.
- Supervising the establishment and development of graduate studies programs, their review and evaluation.
- Supervising the activities of the induction program for postgraduate students in the college and following up its implementation.
- Receiving applications for applicants to the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and distributing them to the various scientific departments in the college, supervising the selection and tests of applicants for postgraduate studies, and following up the admission procedures with the scientific departments and the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies.
- Coordination with the departments in the scientific colleges and the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies in determining the numbers of admissions to the graduate studies program in the college, and the conditions and tests for admission.
- Receiving the recommendations of the scientific departments regarding postgraduate students and sending them to the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies after approval by the College Board.
Tasks of the Scientific Research and International Cooperation;
- Preparing reports and forms for scientific research.
- Executing the tasks or tasks assigned to him by the dean of the faculty of scientific research.
- Implementation of the college policy for scientific research and follow-up.
- Supervising the development of research strategy and setting up mechanisms for its implementation in the college
- Coordination with the Deanship of Scientific Research to provide financial support for scientific research from or outside the university.
- Study the proposals submitted by the departments to establish scientific chairs or research centers.
- Coordination with scientific societies and research centers, if any, to enhance the college's role in scientific research.
