About CME Center

Welcome to the Continuing Medical Education (CME), College of Medicine (COM), King Khalid University (KKU), Abha. We strive to provide up-to-date clinical and research information in appropriate educational formats so that participants are able to improve their knowledge, skills, attitudes, behaviors, and the clinical outcomes for their patients and students.

The aim of CME-COM-KKU is to cater College Medical staff and other health care professionals' exemplary, eutting-edge educational endeavors that teach evidence-based practices and identify new and emerging health care needs and opportunities from research through delivery of care so that, through continuous medical education, we can significantly improve medical teaching and health problems.

Mission

To promote standards for quality continuing medical education (CME) and provide educational experiences to be utilized by physicians and allied healthcare practitioners that contributes to their clinical competence and professional development.

Vision

To cater College Medical staff and other health care professionals' exemplary, cutting- edge educational endeavors that teach evidence-based practices and identify updated and emerging health care needs and opportunities from research through delivery of care so that, through continuous medical education, we can improve medical profession both in teaching and clinical aspect. The College CME will facilitate, manage, and collaborate with our faculty to present effective and attractive educational activities.

Specific goals:

  • To enhance College Medical staff their continuous medical education and professional development through conferences and workshops and skills-training.
  • To meet or exceed the guidelines of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties who is responsible for supervising and evaluating training programs, as well as setting controls and standards for the practice of health professions.

College of Medicine (COM), King Khalid University (KKU) CME Program includes medical staff, other health professionals and students both local and national

 Values

COM-KKU fosters the continuing professional development of medical staff, other health professionals and students. The offerings are intended to enhance them in their training and influence their behavior for the purpose of improving health outcomes and teaching profession in medical and allied fields.

 Expected Results

To improve , competence and performance of College staff and to this end. enable the optimum provision of health care. Evaluation and outcomes are measured by many methods to determine if content is relevant, it educational needs and objectives are met and whether participants' knowledge, competence, or performance has improved.

 Services

We provide the following services to our staff SCFHS CME hour's accreditation. meeting planning, collaborative organizational activities and issuance of attendance certificates.
