- The College of Medicine in Abha was established on 19/2/1400 AH as the fourth medical college in the Kingdom.
- The first batch of female students was accepted at the beginning of the academic year 1423/1424 AH
- The first batch graduated from the College of Medicine in Abha at the end of the academic year 1406/1407 AH, and the number of graduates at that time was twelve (12) doctors.
- Currently, (1327) male and female students study in the college, including (763) male and (564) female students, the total number of those who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Abha since its inception is (3969) male and female doctors, including (2991) male and (978) female doctors.
