The Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, King Khalid University, was established in the year 1985 [1405H] after four years of the inauguration of the College of Medicine by the Royal Decree No. 3/M/3806 on 19/2/1400H. The Internal Medicine Department is one of the main clinical departments at the College of Medicine, King Khalid University.

Vision

To be a distinguished, nationally and internationally recognized department in internal medicine education, patient-centred care and research, developing competent and ethical physicians who meet global standards and contribute to advancing healthcare in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond.
